It is an annoying piece of software because it gets in the way more than it helps. It also insists that you NOT EDIT THE NETWORK INTERFACES FILE &amp;lt;code&amp;gt;/etc/network/interfaces&amp;lt;/code&amp;gt;. If you edit that file, it will pout and throw a fit and refuse to start, breaking all of your networking.&lt;br /&gt;
