Argentinian sauce, slightly spicy, served as a side with grilled or roasted meat

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsely or cilantro chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Directions

  • Whisk the oil and vinegar together in a small bowl
  • Stir in the onin, parsely, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper
  • Cover and let stand 2-3 hours before serving to let flavors develop
  • Keep covered and refrigerated up to 2 days
